Toulon notched eight tries as they coasted to a comfortable 53-22 victory over Petrarca Padova in their Amlin Challenge Cup Pool 2 encounter.
Fly-half Julien Dumora kicked a total of 13 points for the home side, while Irish full-back Eoghan Hickey kicked four penalties for Petrarca who also scored two tries of their own through Agustin Cavalieri and Scott Palmer.
But it was one-way traffic for the most part with front-rowers Levan Chilachava and Romain Frou going over in the first period for Toulon along with centre Baptiste Bonnet.
The hosts started the second half with two tries in as many minutes from wing Christian Loamanu and full-back Benjamin Lapyeyre.
A penalty try followed shortly before the hour mark and the scoring was completed by replacement Xavier Chiocci (61 minutes) and flanker Alafoti Faosilvia who crossed nine minutes from time.
