Connacht booked their place in the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup with a convincing 49-3 victory over Dax at Sportsground.
The Irish side bounced back from their 75-5 hammering at the hands of London Irish with a bonus-point victory to progress as runners-up in Pool One.
Fionn Carr and Niva Ta'auso both scored twice as Connacht ran in seven tries at the Galway Sportsground.
Sean Cronin, Liam Bibo and Gavin Duffy also crossed the whitewash during a comfortable night for the hosts.
Carr started the scoring in the fifth minute before full-back Duffy made his way over midway through the first half.
Five minutes before the break Connacht gave the Galway crowd plenty to shout about after a blistering break from Duffy saw Bibo touch down as the hosts took a 22-3 lead into the interval.
Carr claimed his second try after 50 minutes with Samoan Ta'auso claiming two tries in the final quarter before hooker Cronin came back from a spell in the sin-bin to dot down.
Michael Bradley's side now hold the sixth qualification spot, but are likely to be sent down to seventh as Newcastle will jump above them with an expected bonus-point win over El Salvador in Spain on Sunday.
