The Coastal Sharks pulled off a remarkable comeback to secure a 29-15 victory over the Northern Bulls at Loftus Versfeld.
French fly-half Frederic Michalak started the Sharks' charge with the first of his side's three tries in the final 10 minutes.
Keegan Daniel and Jaques Botes followed Michalak across the whitewash in the 75th and 79th minutes respectively as the Sharks overturned a 15-11 deficit to remain unbeaten in this year's Super 14.
The Sharks trailed 7-6 at half-time after two Francois Steyn penalties were answered by Bulls winger Akone Ngundane's try one minute prior to the break.
But two penalties and a drop goal from Bulls fly-half Morne Steyn looked to have put his side on course for victory entering the final stages of a fractious encounter in which the Sharks' Johann Ackermann and the Bulls' Danie Rossouw and JP Nel all saw yellow.
It was Nel's visit to the sin bin - for a spear tackle on Steyn - that opened the door for Michalak to engineer the late turnaround.
