Newport Gwent Dragons heaped more misery on bottom-club Aironi with a hard-fought 18-3 victory over the Italians on Sunday.
Aironi remain cut adrift at the bottom of the Magners League, losing all 14 of their fixtures so far this campaign.
The Dragons, who struggled to find their fluency during a scrappy encounter at the Stadio Luigi Zaffanella, will be disappointed to have scored just two tries, largely due to a low-scoring first half.
The Welsh outfit did eventually break clear in the second period though, Tom Riley and Aled Brew both crossing the whitewash.
Fly-half Jason Tovey was successful with two penalties and a conversion but missed with another two kicks and a drop goal.
Aironi scrum-half Tito Tebaldi scored his side's only points with a penalty of his own, though he also missed twice.
