Davide Moscardelli scored the goals as Bologna beat Parma 2-0 at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Sunday.

Bologna claimed all three points and the bragging rights in the Emilia Derby as Saphir Taider and Davide Moscardelli scored the goals to beat Parma 2-0 at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. Rossoblu coach Stefano Pioli was searching for his first-ever managerial victory over his hometown club and Taider's early goal helped him break that hoodoo. A spirited Parma fightback was thwarted by a resilient display from goalkeeper Dejan Stojanovic, who was making only his third appearance in Serie A, with Moscardelli rubber-stamping the derby win 13 minutes from time. Parma can finish no higher than 10th in the Serie A table while Bologna remain 13th with Cagliari and Chievo ahead of them before next week's visit of Genoa. It took Bologna six minutes to make the breakthrough. Taider had only just seen a header from a corner sail over the crossbar when he got the chance to make amends, which he did by beating Antonio Mirante to his right. The Parma goalkeeper would have a quiet half while his counterpart repelled raid after raid from the frustrated hosts. Amauri was first to test Stojanovic, the Austrian stopper punching the ball away, before Ishak Belfodil saw his deft dribble into the box tidied up before he could shoot. And when Stojanovic cleared Jonathan Biabiany's shot on the turn away for a corner, Bologna raced up the other end. Manolo Gabbiadini seemed perfectly placed to tuck home after controlling Alessandro Diamanti's fine pass, but the Juventus loanee lost his footing. Gabriel Paletta's double salvo met the unbeatable Stojanovic with a double salvo in the 24th minute and the keeper was on hand to snaffle Amauri's bullet header. There was time for more heroics before the interval as Stojanovic followed up a smart stop on Amauri by smothering Belfodil's searing effort. Paletta stepped in front of Mirante to deny Gabbiadini the chance to shoot when play resumed, and in the 55th minute Stojanovic found himself back under fire but timed his exit perfectly to anticipate Amauri's swing at a Djamel Mesbah cross. Bologna had been penned in their own half for much of the game but in the final 20 minutes they branched out, with Gabbiadini and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos both going close. Moscardelli, who had provided the ball for the Greek's effort, had better luck in the 77th minute and Mirante stood by and watched as his a right-footed drive sailed into the net.
