Luke and Smith withdraw appeals
New Zealand duo Issac Luke and Jeremy Smith have withdrawn their challenges against their suspensions.
Luke initially indicated his intention to contest a two-match ban for an illegal leg twist on scrum-half Rangi Chase during the 28-6 Gillette Four Nations defeat to England.
Smith had also opted to fight a one-match ban imposed for illegal use of the forearm on England full-back Sam Tomkins in the same match.
However the Kiwi forwards have now decided to accept the suspensions, which, under NRL rules, can be wiped out in pre-season trial matches.
Luke and Smith had been due to face an international disciplinary panel in Leeds on Tuesday.
