Toulouse rescued a point in extraordinary fashion as goalkeeper Ali Ahamada scored a 94th-minute equaliser against Rennes. The away side led twice through Jonathan Pitroipa (eight) and Mevlut Erding (64), with Wissam Ben Yedder having initially equalised on 22 minutes. But just when an away win seemed certain, Ahamada went forward for a last-gasp free-kick and powered in a header to send the home fans into a frenzy. Rennes took the lead through the game's first meaningful attack, with Pitroipa firing a powerful drive beyond Ahamada, and the same player could have made it 2-0 on 19 minutes only to shoot narrowly wide. That sparked Toulouse into life and they were level on 22 minutes when a superb cross from Franck Tabanou was met by an equally precise volleyed finish from Ben Yedder. Rennes were still looking dangerous though and the influential Pitroipa set up John Boye in the 53rd minute for a volley which Ahamada was forced to save. And it was no surprise when the visitors took the lead for the second time on 65 minutes as Boye's corner was emphatically volleyed home by Erding. Toulouse went in search of an equaliser and came within inches of finding one as Etienne Capoue headed narrowly over the bar from Tabanou's corner. But just when it seemed as though they had run out of time in the 94th minute, Ahamada went up for Ben Yedder's free-kick and came up with a headed goal that handed those fans who had not left early their due reward.
