Dunga's side wrap up preparations in style

Brazil ended their World Cup preparations on a high note with a 5-1 thrashing of Tanzania in Dar-es-Salaam on Monday. Double strikes from Robinho and Ramires - and a further goal from Kaka - helped the Brazilians to the emphatic result against their modest opposition, who scored a late consolation via Jabir Aziz. Coach Dunga gave game time to all of his players ahead of their opening group game against North Korea on 15th June. Manchester City forward Robinho, on loan at Santos, drew first blood after just 10 minutes despite appearing to control the ball with his left arm. The referee allowed the game to continue and, after trading passes with Kaka, he found the back of the net.

Simple

Michel Bastos then crossed the ball in the 33rd minute to allow Robinho to complete a simple headed finish and make it 2-0. Ramires, who came off the bench for Felipe Melo at half-time, was only in action for seven minutes before scoring a third goal for Brazil with a solo effort from the left flank. Kaka added the fourth in the 75th minute when he chested a Maicon pass into the net, but Tanzania responded with a consolation goal courtesy of Aziz 11 minutes later. Ramires landed his second goal from a Daniel Alves cross just before the final whistle to complete the comprehensive win for Brazil.
