A touch of class by Matt Hamshaw after 43 minutes set Ian McParland's men on their way.
When Ismail Yakubu and Lee Harrison failed to deal with a long clearance from goalkeeper Josh Lillis, the ball fell loose to Hamshaw some 20 yards out.
And with Harrison off his line, the former Sheffield Wednesday and Mansfield winger calmly lifted the ball over him and into the net.
After more good work by Hamshaw led to Facey seeing a header being blocked on the line by Joe Devera, County stretched their lead after 62 minutes.
Ben Fairclough, making his first league start in attack, was fouled on the edge of the area and Jamie Clapham stepped up to curl the resulting free-kick into the top corner.
