Blackpool boss Paul Ince has been named Sky Bet Manager of the Month for August, while Huddersfield's James Vaughan has scooped the Player of the Month prize.
Ince has guided his Blackpool side to the top of the Championship after winning four of their five games this season.
Seasiders manager Ince beat off competition from Queens Park Rangers chief Harry Redknapp and Burnley boss Sean Dyche to take the first monthly gong of the new campaign.
Ince paid tribute to his players for helping win the award.
"It's always nice to be recognised when we've done well, but it's not about me," said Ince.
"I've won this award because of the players, not because of me.
"If I could split the award into 18 pieces and hand it around the dressing room, I really would. The lads have been outstanding in the first five games.
"It will probably be the kiss of death now, but we'll take it."
Huddersfield hit-man Vaughan has been rewarded for his rich vein of form in front of goal with the player prize.
Vaughan has scored six goals in five games, including a superb hat-trick in the 5-1 win over Bournemouth and Terriers boss Mark Robins has challenged the striker to maintain his form..
"It's great for James and the club that he's getting the plaudits he deserves," said manager Mark Robins. "But he'll also be the first to recognise the contribution his team-mates have made towards this. They're the ones who supply him with the ammunition.
"The challenge now for James - and the rest of the players - is to keep this form up for the other 10 months of the season."
