Liam Ridehalgh will not face a suspension for the red card he picked up just 32 minutes into his Tranmere debut.
The left-back, who agreed terms to a three-month deal with Rovers on the morning of their 1-0 defeat to Port Vale, received his marching orders for pulling back Chris Birchall in the area. Tranmere appealed the one-match ban on grounds of wrongful dismissal and the FA has now granted Ridehalgh a reprieve.
