Ripley staying with Bantams

Bradford City have extended Middlesbrough goalkeeper Connor Ripley's loan spell until January.

The 20-year-old joined Bradford at the start of the season and is poised to make his debut for the club in Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Hartlepool. Bantams boss Phil Parkinson told the club's official website: "Connor has worked hard since he's come here - he's worked very hard in training and has a lot of good attributes. "He's a good distributor of the ball, he's big and he's athletic. Obviously he lacks experience at the moment - that's why we've got him. But we're going to play him (on Tuesday night) to give him a game. "He deserves it for the way he's trained and the attitude he's shown despite not being in the side up until now."
