Swindon midfielder Ryan Mason has suffered a hamstring injury, caretaker boss Mark Cooper has confirmed.
The on-loan Spurs man underwent a scan after picking up a knock in the 1-0 win over Torquay last week and the verdict was a grade one tear. That will rule Mason out of their trip to Shrewsbury this weekend and make him a doubt for the visit of newly-promoted Gillingham this week after. "Ryan Mason has got a grade one hamstring tear which is 10 days to two weeks," Cooper told the Swindon Advertiser. "Unfortunately we're having to get players fit by playing them in the team because they've not done pre-season or they've been out of favour at clubs or they've been injured."
