Romanian international Adrian Mutu set to finalise a move to France with Ajaccio.
The 33-year-old has been released from his contract with Serie B Cesena and he is now free to move to France.
The former Chelsea and Juventus ace has been locked in talks with the Corsican side and is now poised to sign on the dotted line.
A statement on the club's
official website read: "Cesena can confirm that Adrian Mutu's contract, which tied him to the Bianconera for two more years, has been terminated by mutual consent."
Last week Ajaccio president Alain Orsini told
RMC: "An agreement has been reached with Mutu and his agents."
