Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Tom Starke from Hoffenheim.
Bayern have moved for Starke, who will act as back-up to established No.1 Manuel Neuer.
The German giants needed a new keeper following Hans-Jorg Butt's retirement.
Bayern's director of sport Christian Nerlinger told the club's
official website: "Tom Starke is an experienced Bundesliga goalkeeper.
"He will be able to fully replace Hans-Jorg Butt in the job."
Starke said: "I am looking forward to this, I am looking forward to join Bayern Munich.
"For me it's a great opportunity to go for titles in the next years to come. I am flattered by the chance of taking part in the Champions League as well."
