Watford winger Michael Bryan has been given a chance to earn a contract at Bournemouth, where he will go on trial for the next few days.

The 21-year-old played for the Cherries reserve team in their 3-2 victory at Torquay on Tuesday, impressing second-string manager Ryan Garry. "Michael is a young lad who played 80 minutes and played very well. He will be with us for the next few days," Garry told BBC Radio Solent. "He played well and fitted in straight away. He was training with the first-team squad at Canford on Tuesday and the manager (Lee Bradbury) is taking a close look at him. "He is very comfortable on the ball, has a very good attitude and is a very enthusiastic player. "He is at Watford, who are in the Championship, and is struggling to get in the first team so Lee is going to have a close look at him and see if he wants to take it further."
