Valladolid striker waiting to see if there is a January offer

Real Valladolid striker Javi Guerra has admitted he is 'flattered' to be wanted by Rangers and is waiting to see if the SPL champions make an offer. Gers boss Ally McCoist confirmed earlier this week that he is interested in Guerra, who reportedly has a £5million release clause in his contract. Valladolid are keen to hang on to the 29-year-old and have stated it would take a 'solid offer' to persuade them to part with Guerra this month. Speculation has claimed that Guerra could be sold for £2.5m and the forward has suggested he would be tempted by the prospect of a move to Ibrox. "I am flattered by Rangers' interest because they are one of the big European clubs," Guerra was quoted as saying in the Daily Record. "My agent has told me I am one of their options - but not the only one. I know I'm on the list but Valladolid haven't received an offer. "Scotland and British football in general is wonderful for players. It is very seductive for me as a striker, especially while I'm still playing in Spain's second division."
