Rasiak could get Addicks chance

Grzegorz Rasiak is set to start in the upcoming friendly against Carshalton Athletic as Charlton prepare for the new season.

And manager Chris Powell hopes Rasiak could be the fourth striker he is looking for before starting their league campaign against Bournemouth. Rasiak is currently on trial with the Addicks but the Polish international will have to prove his fitness to Powell if he wants to stay. "I want four headline strikers," Powell told the club's official website. "I feel that will be important for us over the course of the season. "He [Rasiak] came in to train and spend a few days with us. He hasn't kicked a ball since May, so that one's going to be a slow burner and we'll see if anything comes of it."
