Young shot-stopper will not join Eredivisie side

Goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik will not join De Graafschap this summer after the Czech failed his medical at the Eredivisie side. The 22-year-old was on the brink of completing the move from native club Viktoria Zivkov but the deal collapsed when he was unable to prove his fitness. Vaclik represented the Czech Republic at the Under-21 European Championship in Denmark last month and was voted by Uefa as one of the three top keepers at the tournament alongside David de Gea and Yann Sommer. De Graafschap are expected to continue their hunt for a keeper to provide competition for existing shot-stoppers Joost Terol and Jordy van der Kracht.
