Waddock tight-lipped when it comes to reports of Fulham approach

Wycombe boss Gary Waddock has refused to confirm whether Fulham have bid for Kadeem Harris. Reports suggest the Premier League outfit have seen a £50,000 offer knocked back for the highly-rated midfielder. The 18-year-old only penned his first professional contract at Adams Park in May, with the Chairboys keen to tie his talent down. He is, however, already attracting interest from afar, with Fulham believed to be just one of a number of clubs keeping a close eye on his development.

Talent

Waddock is pleased to see his promising starlet generating headlines, but is staying tight-lipped when it comes to the matter of Harris' future and talk of bids from Craven Cottage. "If it is true, then it shows the kind of talent we have within our squad and the talent Kadeem has," he told the Buckinghamshire Advertiser. Harris became the youngest first-team player in Wycombe's history when he appeared in a meeting with Yeovil on Boxing Day 2009. His potential was obvious then, at the tender age of 16, and his ability was further recognised last season when he was named League Two Apprentice of the Year at the Football League awards.
