Keeper wants to help club build on disappointing season

Cedric Carrasso insists he is not planning to leave Bordeaux in the summer despite the club's disappointing season. Bordeaux currently sit eighth in Ligue 1 and are facing an uphill battle to qualify for Europe next term. The failure to live up to expectations this campaign has prompted suggestions that France goalkeeper Carrasso could decide to move on before the end of his contract. Carrasso, who has two years left on his existing deal, was linked with the likes of Aston Villa, Bayern Munich and Schalke during the January transfer window. However, Carrasso is eager to learn from the disappointment of the current campaign and is intending to fulfil his contract at Bordeaux. "In my mind, when I came to Bordeaux, it was for the duration," the 29-year-old told radio station RMC. "With the disappointment of this year I want to grow personally and try to add value to the club so we can start something good. "The Champions League is the flagship competition. I hope to rediscover it at the end of next season. "I am 100% with Bordeaux. I don't expect any proposals."
