Youngster happy to be involved at Dutch club

Young defender Daley Blind is enjoying life at Ajax after seeing an increase in his game-time. The 20-year-old has made only four appearances in all competitions for the Amsterdammers this season, but has started the last three matches. Blind has also impressed in recent Eredivisie and cup successes over NAC Breda, and the Dutchman, a youth product at Ajax, feels he is finding his feet at the club. "I am now having a lot of minutes and enjoying it," he said. "I notice that I just have to get more used to the players around me. "My first task is to defend." The youngster insists nothing less than a win at home to De Graafschap will do on Friday night as Ajax bid to keep their league title hopes alive. The Dutch giants, who start life without striker Luis Suarez after the Uruguayan's departure to Liverpool, will head into Friday's clash with confidence having won the reverse fixture 5-0 back in August Blind told the club's official website: "We should be taking three points. We are confident, we are at home."
