Owen Coyle has revealed that new signing David Nugent will get his first run-out in a Burnley shirt in the friendly with Accrington on Tuesday.
The Clarets boss has volunteered to help the League Two club raise money to pay off the £308,000 they owe HM Customs and Revenue.
The tax office have given Accrington eight weeks to raise the funds or they will go out of business.
All the proceeds from the game at Turf Moor, which is yet to be ratified by the Premier League, will go to Stanley and Coyle has vowed to put out a strong side to draw in the crowd.
Along with Nugent, who arrived last week on a six-month loan from Portsmouth, Coyle is set to hand fellow loan signing Fernando Guerrero and winger Chris Eagles only their second starts of the season.
"I will be putting out a strong team," Coyle said.
"It will be a chance for the fans to see 90 minutes for Fernando Guerrero and also first-team players like Chris Eagles and David Nugent.
"The more Burnley fans who come the better because it's a fantastic cause, and that's why we have priced it reasonably."
