Newly-promoted Bundesliga outfit sign German U19 ace on loan
FC Nurnberg have completed the signing of Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting on a season-long loan from Hamburg.
Newly-promoted Nurnberg are currently second bottom of the Bundesliga having picked up just two points from their opening four games.
However Nurnberg manager Michael Oenning believes the German Under-19 international can fire them to safety this term.
Choupo-Moting had grown frustrated with life at Hamburg and has moved to Nurnberg in a bid to find regular first-team football.
"We are happy to have gained one more striker with this transfer," Oenning told the
club's official website.
"Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting will help us turn our goal of avoiding the drop from Bundesliga 1 into reality."
