Player's agent claims that his client has signed three-year contract
Fabian Vargas' agent, Sergio Comba, claims that the player is set to leave Boca Juniors and join Almeria.
The 29-year-old has rejected Boca's advances on a new deal after several meetings with club representatives and looks set to leave La Bombonera this summer.
The midfielder is said to have been swayed by the fact that fellow Mexican Hugo Sanchez is in charge of the Spanish side.
Comba reveals that his client has signed a three-year deal with Almeria and the transfer will be completed at the start of July.
"At Boca I have always been treated very well, I only have many things to thank to this team and to everyone," Vargas told
TyC Sports.
"I always had the dream of playing in Europe for being able to grow up as a professional and it's also a good chance financially."
