Mullarkey screamer sees spoils shared
Midfielder Sam Mullarkey fired in his first senior goal to rescue a point for Lincoln in a 1-1 draw at home to Notts County.
Mullarkey found the net in the 65th minute with a well-struck shot from 25 yards which flew into the top corner.
The goal was a perfect response by Lincoln after they fell behind just 30 seconds earlier.
A mix-up between City keeper Rob Burch and Moses Swaibu left Delroy Facey to shoot into an empty net.
County had another great chance a minute before half-time when Jamie Forrester hit a shot on the turn but Burch saved well.
Forrester had another opening in the 62nd minute when Lincoln failed to clear a cross from Myles Weston.
The striker was left unmarked at the far post but his low shot was saved by Burch.
Lincoln could have taken all three points but Adrian Patulea wasted a simple second-half chance.
