Porto scored deep into injury time to beat Dynamo Kiev 2-1 and keep their Group G challenge alive.
Lucho nets deep into injury time but is then sent-off
Portuguese outfit Porto came from a goal behind to beat Dynamo Kiev 2-1 in the Ukraine and keep their UEFA Champions League dream alive.
Jesualdo Ferreira's side looked to be slipping out of contention in Group G but scored an injury time winner through Lucho - who then got sent off - to leap-frog their opponents into second in the table.
The visitors were the better side early on and hit the post in the eighth minute when Raul Meireles' powerful long range effort was pushed onto the left upright by Kiev keeper Stanislav Bogush.
Bogush then had to push over Cristian Rodriguez's rising shot in the 20th minute.
Kiev goal
But a minute later, the home side took the lead against the run of play through Artem Milevskiy.
The goal came from two simple passes, with Badr El Kaddouri finding Tiberiu Ghioane on the edge of the box, who then played a short pass to Milevskiy to slot home into the bottom right corner.
But Meireles had a gilt-edged chance to equalise for Porto on 36 minutes after meeting Lucho's cross from the right unmarked in the box but he headed straight at Bogush.
Soon after the re-start, Milevskiy made a strong run down the right and found Olekandr Aliev but his close-range effort was blocked.
Porto substitute Hulk then played a one-two into the box but Tiberiu Ghioane got an important foot in to deny him a shot, while Rodriguez's effort from outside the box was saved by Bogush soon afterwards.
Porto keeper Helton then made a fine save from close range from Aliev on 56 minutes after he had been teed-up by Milevskiy.
Hulk then hit a fine left footed strike from outside the area just over the bar on 65 minutes.
Porto equalise
But the visitors equalised four minutes later when Jorge Rolando attacked a Meireles' free kick and gave Bogush no chance with his thumping header into the net.
Bogush then had to keep out a Lisandro Lopez header from a Meireles' free kick with eight minutes to go.
At the other end, Oynjen Vukojevic hit Porto's post with two minutes to go after being found by a Milevskiy pass in the box.
But deep into injury time, Porto hit the hosts on the break to seal the win with Lisandro crossing from the right for Lucho to score.
Lucho's night was soured somewhat though as he was sent off for a second bookable offence after over-celebrating the goal.
The win sees Porto go into second in the group on six points, one ahead of Kiev in third.
