Dagenham came from behind to beat Macclesfield 2-1 and maintain their play-off hopes.
John Rooney, brother of Wayne, gave the Silkmen the lead after 38 minutes, taking advantage of a slip by Mark Arber to drill past Tony Roberts.
But the Daggers had enjoyed the best of the first half with Magnus Okuonghae having a header saved at point-blank range by Jon Brain.
The home side eventually got their reward after the break as the returning Paul Benson netted with his second touch, lobbing the ball over Brain in the 71st minute.
They then won it late on as Matt Ritchie volleyed home from the edge of the area with seven minutes to go.
Jamie Guy could have added another after he was sent clean through but he saw his shot saved by Brain before bouncing wide of a post.
