    Seagulls flying high after win

Table-toppers Brighton stretched their unbeaten League One run to 10 games with a 2-0 home win over Yeovil on Saturday.

Striker Glenn Murray broke the deadlock two minutes before the break by leaping to splendidly head in a cross by Kazenga LuaLua. And Spanish defender Inigo Calderon doubled the advantage in superb style on 56 minutes by latching on to a Marcos Painter pass before unleashing an unstoppable left-foot shot into the bottom corner. Yeovil created few clear cut scoring opportunities and came closest when striker Dean Bowditch rolled an angled shot wide on the hour. Substitute Andy Welsh should have done better for the Glovers late on when he shot over at the far post. Yeovil had a lucky escape five minutes before the break when skipper Paul Huntington nearly put through his own goal. Huntington got himself in a tangle and the ball deflected off Owain Tudur Jones and on to the post before rebounding into the arms of keeper Stephen Henderson.
